Its all in the planning - Pre travel plans
First and foremost - have you got your airport parking arranged and booked, the earlier you book the better the prices and plus its just another job that your can cross off your list before you go.
Always allow extra time for any unexpected delays and if you are meeting other family members at the airport this might cause you to move slower through the terminal.
Travel Documentation:
Don't forget your PASSPORT for a start and any visa's that might be needed for your destination.
If you are hiring a car at your destination - you will need your booking confirmation paperwork and your driving license.
Make sure you take your Hotel or Villa reservation paperwork in a printed form.
Tips for Parents travelling with Children:
We would highly recommend Security Fast-Track, it is a worthwhile investment during peak summer periods to help you avoid the queues.
Airport Scavenger Hunts: Download free printable games to keep kids entertained.
>Make sure you have a designated Meeting Point in case anyone gets separated, as the Terminal will be busy and it will be unfamiliar surroundings.
Do you have a 'Snack Strategy'? No one wants to have a 'hangry' child in the airport, it is already a stressful situation for you and for everyone else in the airport terminal. We suggest to pack a variety of non-perishable snacks.
Our top Tech Tip for a smoother airport experience, is make sure you have charged your devices the night before and perhaps take a battery pack with you as well as a charger. Make sure to download some new games, TV Programmes and Films.
